Hopefully the masterminds of the Afghanistan disaster aren't among the trainers.

Due to the sheer difference in size and population, China could take Taiwan. But it wouldn't be easy and Taiwan could put a serious hurt on the communists. The have a large, well trained, and well equipped military that has been in a state of constant alert for 73 years. Unless there's new equipment involved, the likely don't need U.S. trainers.
According to their own leaders they had gotten lazy and unprepared. We are there to shock them into coherence

Affordability, profitability of EV's does not help as well

Where's our trade gone? Germans blame Brexit as car industry slumps by £14bn
GERMAN carmakers have blamed Brexit for the worrying decline in the automotive industry as the sector loses billions.

A new study has suggested Germany is now on course to lose the UK as one of its top 10 trading partners this year for the first time since 1950, according to research by the state-owned firm Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI). Since the UK voted to leave the EU in 2016, automotive trade between Berlin and London has fallen annually by an average of 12.3 percent, data suggests.

As a result, German exports almost halved in value between 2015 and 2020 - from €30.4billion to €16.4billion.

I never thought that choosing a sleeper East German mole as your head of state would be a particularly bright idea.

Bloomberg News

Apple Inc. is likely to slash its projected iPhone 13 production targets for 2021 by as many as 10 million units as prolonged chip shortages hit its flagship product, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The company had expected to produce 90 million new iPhone models in the last three months of the year, but it’s now telling manufacturing partners that the total will be lower because Broadcom Inc. and Texas Instruments Inc. are struggling to deliver enough components, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the situation is private. Can't believe we are now sending billions in aid to the Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan now, it's sending poorer working class taxpayers money in aid to make the terrorist leaders richer, non of that aid will get fed down to the poor Afghans. Poor get poorer in the West/Afghanistan the Taliban terrorists richer more money to fund buy weapons, shiny new Toyota Hilux pick-ups for the ISIS fleet. The West has gone totally bonkers, we just let the Afghans rebuild their country on their own, our own poor people in the west are going to be struggling with higher taxes created during the pandemic.

New Terrorist Equipment

European Union pledges 1-billion euros aid package for Afghanistan

The Taliban held their first face-to-face talks with a joint US-EU delegation Tuesday in Qatar as Brussels pledged one billion euros ($1.2 billion) in aid for Afghanistan.

Fund the Taliban terrorist leaders & ISIS war machine, the poorest working class people in Europe hit harder with inflation extra taxes they can't afford to pay to fund more terrorism, sadly the poorest people struggling in Afghanistan won't see a dime.

That equipment won't last long without proper maintenance and parts. The aerial vehicles are probably already grounded permanently. And if they use any of them they'll be any easy target for a loitering UCAV

Xi is demanding re-unification with Taiwan, We have an absent president, Kerry is telling the French that the president was not even aware that our diplomats were screwing France with the Submarine deal with the Ausies, General Flinn says there is a Government in place being run by Obama irrespective of who is president, we have real problems in Washington DC.
A whole litany of conjecture and opinion.

No.
The Taliban is woefully inept in governing Afghanistan, one in three people don’t know where their next meal is coming from. So we see the Taliban now in power but absolutely useless with rebuilding basic services without outside help, need to separate ideology from humanitarian support.

or are we stupid enough to allow the Chinese to walk in and take “control”?

Biden(his time) will probably allow that and Hunter will get a special appointment.

The Chinese? Have you seen what they are doing to their Muslim population? They will harvest every organ they can get in Pakistan and Afghanistan bro….

let the Afghans get what they had coming… they are fools for not embracing help from the Sunnis and Nato.

She had a particular loathing for the Donald. Preferred Russian natural gas to American
Our enemies, foreign and domestic, truly hate patriotic Americans. So this is EASY BUTTON.

Yes, that's been clear for a long time. Same reason they absolutely hated The Donald. BTW, if Orange Man Bad, is Orange Wymmnn (Jen) Bad too?

Afghanistan is not a country except on a map. It's a collection of tribes, most are stuck in the 7th century. Their new Chinese masters can put the uncooperative ones to work in some nice mines.

What does that do for the chip shortage? Time will tell. We have to make our own stuff. That is a no-brainer. Apparently H&K were not hit too hard with this. And they're at work for in-house chips. I'll take Ruffles cheddar & sour cream flavor.

The collection of tribes part is exactly why they can never enjoy freedom and a western world sort of rule like our former leader Bush thought would be so marvelous for them.

That would be fantastic!

Nobody, through all of history, has been able to "control" Afghanistan. The Chinese are more than welcome to jump into that quagmire.

It amazed me that some people believe that the Chinese will be more successful than the Russians.
