I haven't seen any at my local dealerships. How about you? I think the only reader reviews we've had have been with the 4-speed auto.

After years of offering V6 cars with nothing but 4-speed automatics, I wonder if GM can convince Pontiac dealers to order them, or even get the option on their radar.Step two would be ensuring that these manuals actually wind up on dealer lots.
If this is true, I call dibs on this week's! (per my local dealer, my GTP coupe with the 6 speed is scheduled to be built August 8)gmsickofan said:I remember reading that the factory was making only one manual trans GTP per week for a while. Has this changed?
Let us know how it is please!jnak00 said:If this is true, I call dibs on this week's! (per my local dealer, my GTP coupe with the 6 speed is scheduled to be built August 8)
Yeah, but in the U.S., it should be a tad cheaper.... I hope.Mischief007 said:That is way too expensive.
I'm pretty sure that's not MSRP. Let me check.paul8488 said:I stopped at my local Pontiac dealership (in Canada) at lunch today to see if they had any G6 coupes. They didn't, but they did have a 2006 G6 GTP sedan. It was automatic, but pretty loaded otherwise: panoramic roof, side and head airbags, leather, blah blah blah. It also came with another interesting feature... a $38,000 price tag!!! I just about fell over! I mean, yeah, it's a nice car... but almost $40,000?!? And that's before tax. Not sure what I thought it would cost... but it sure wasn't $40,000!
Glad to hear you liked it. I haven't actually seen the coupe in person so I'm not sure what to expect when it arrives (hopefully by the end of the month, more likely in September). It looks stunning in some pictures and awkward in others, so I've been hoping it's one of those cars that looks better in person.Mischief007 said:I jinxed myself. No manuals in there BUT I did take a closer look at the G6 GTP Coupe. And I'm in love. Love the proportions, we're talking 350Z and G35 Coupe type proportions EXCEPT THERE'S A BACKSEAT.Don't let that small window tell you nothing because it is huge in the back. It has a great stance and looks a million times better in person than in pictures. Now I just need to find that manual version and drive it to see if it will become my next car.
