Dear oh dear.. until today I didn’t realise such a thing as a dedicated ‘Children’s Hearse’ existed 😔

But fwiw here is one, and surprisingly it’s an original (Chrysler) factory design.

That looks like a "grand touring hearse" - doesn't look very stately.

It interested me that it was made from a hardtop coupe and, amazingly, factory designed for children - tragic as that is. But I agree it’s no glamour puss that’s for sure

I unfortunately had to attend one about 10 years ago when my friend's baby died of SIDS. It was pretty hard to see the tiny coffin. When it was time to move on from the church to the cemetery 2 men carried the tiny coffin to just a regular Lincoln MKX and put it in the back sideways. Not something I ever want to see again.

Sadly my friend, some of the worst memories are the ones that linger. Thanks Andrew for sharing.
