Hi, I have a 99 s-10 4.3 v6 6inch suspension 2inch body lift with a 1inch throttle body spacer. I am having a cold start problem. To begin with when I started the truck in the morning after sitting all night long it takes maybe 5 or 6 times before it started. After that it starts fine for the rest of the day. I have replaced the coil which did seem to be arching and I have replaced the spark plugs. This definitly made a difference but did not solve the problem all together, now the truck only take 2 or 3 time before it starts. Anyone have any ideas let me know thanks Jenn

I would check to see what fuel pressures are @ a cold start up...

If low...fuel pump time...that's my guess...

The truck has 84,000 miles on it and about 10,000 ago I had the fuel pump replaced. Maybe its going again. I will check the fuel pressure tonight. Thank you.
