Over 100K miles. White smoke goes from tail pipe a lot. Can it be just intake gasket or I have to remove heads? If compression is good does it mean only intake gasket problem? Thanks.

Is the white smoke voluminous and continuous, or is it just after startup? Catalytic converters, as they function, promote steam which could be misinterpreted as smoke. Especially on cold starts, where moisture has accumulated in the exhaust system from the previous run cycle.

Does the engine overheat?

Just after starting the engine, if you open the radiator cap, do you see the coolant bubbling? If yes, then its a head gasket (HG).

Is the coolant level diminishing? If yes, then you may have an external leak (pipe fitting, etc), or an internal HG leak.
