my car was grounding out in two places the positive to the alternator and the neg ground wire on the battery. i woned it for 3 months and it ran fine then started needing a jump once a week. I found the 2 problems and noticed the battery had a cloudy sell and needed to be replaced so i replaced the battery and neg cable. It was out of the car for 4 days before the new battery was put in. Now the theft sys light is on solid and ive tried all kinds of weird things suggested to reset the code. It is not a computer chip key and not a wireless remote at all. I dont have the 150 the dealer wants to take it in and ive been on foot for 3 months now :( so if yo have any thoughts please email me at [email protected] im open for anything at this point. ICQ 170911580 THANK YOU.

The computor chip isn't in the key it is in the ignition switch. It sounds like the Pass Key module to me but you will need the Tech 2 diagnostic to determine that.
