had a '59 cpe de ville, red with white top, had to drill a hole in left front wheelhouse with a holesaw to change blower motor ! drill holes in rear lites to drain water lololol.....

The battery is located behind the passenger seat on the side of the cargo platform. Slide the carpeted side panel forward to expose the battery. I had to replace the battery in my 91 last week.
seems like I looked there per a 91' manual, '93 is different I believe.....

I believe the location is the same for all years. Try opening the trunk pass-thru and pushing the side panel forward from the back edge. That's what I had to do to help it slide back in all the way. It's easy for the sliding panel to get off the right track and get jammed by someone installing it.

actually there were two panels, first the rear cover which exposes the rear of sliding panel. Thanks a million fiat !
