Hi guys,
I have a canadian K1500 1/2 ton 4.3l Standard.
After being parked for 3 months, When I started it up it would not go out of high idle, even after 20 min of warm up. Having never been done I changed the plugs, cap, rotor and wires, I also checked all vacuum lines, still hi Idle..
I,m guessing a sensor?
Any ideas before I start replacing expensive items?

IAC (Idle Air Control) motor might be stuck. Just as a first thought. Try cleaning it.
