Hi guys I was wondering if the grille on these cars is either a one piece or a two piece setup. It's been awhile since I looked at a 5th gen model throughly and I have a family member that is looking for a new grille assembly for this gen car any input will be helpful

There's an upper and a lower grille...
As for the main grille (leading into the engine compartment itself), I think it depends on what Malibu it is...the first years of the 5th gen Malibu had a chrome bar running across. Mine's an '07 and seems to be a one piece as it doesn't have the chrome bar.
I don't really know though.

Thanks for the input the car in question was bought at a auto auction and it is in the process of being repaired so it can be resold at some point. The car does have an accident history and it has heavy damage above the lower front bumper (No grille, hood, headlights etc,) the last time i saw pictures of it. It still runs though and the engine seems to be in good shape.
