Can you put the 2002-2004 chevrolet silverado 4L60 Electronic tranny with transmission gauge in a 1996 chevrolet silverado 2w/d ext cab.

I think the 96's were 4L60E's.... not sure though. They might have been a 700R4 (aka 4L60)
