I found this the other day:

Link

2008 STS
17852 miles
V8
Appears to be fairly loaded.
$29990.00

17k is a lot of miles for an 08, however the price still seems way low. Can this be legit?

On a seperate note, if you check the Carfax info on the car it shows that it was originally owned by the Michigan Dept of Motor Vehicles. I thought Michigan was going broke? What's the Michigan Dept. of Motor Vehicles doing with a loaded Caddy? And then selling it after only a year of use?

Seems like a sweet deal, I love that car. But I bet it's been wrecked and or driven HARD. The price seems too darn low. Even a 2007 model with that many miles is worth ~$33k. A new 2008 model (even with 18k miles) should pull about $38k. It may just be a really good deal, but I have my doubts.

There's a fully loaded V6 2008 STS here in Seattle being offered at $43K from a sticker of $50K with 39 miles on it.

Best guess, based on the commercial registration and mileage is it's a rental car. That says it has probably been rode hard and put away wet more than once. Not to mention, not all rental operators are conscientious about maintenance.
