I didn't know if this should go here or the competition forum, but here it is...

Chrysler has several videos showing the all-weather benefits of its 300 and Magnum over FWD rivals and even the CTS! This first video shows the CTS and LeSabre not being able to handle what the 300 can. (Shows the LX's spinning/skidding in the snow too w/o ESP on, I'm assuming)

One of them, or possibly both, show the CTS driving behind the 300 and then suddenly spinning out. Does the CTS have Stabilitrak standard? Maybe they switched it off. Just like they switched off the 300's in the first clip.

*note, for slower connections, simply put "56" instead of "300" at the end of the urls.

The CTS only comes with Stabilitrack standard on the Luxury Sport Package. That CTS obviously didnt have it or it would've spanked the LX's. And what they failed to mention is that the Electronic Stability Program is only an option on the base model, so not every 300 and Magnum will have it.

That's true, but the fact that it's offered on all models is significant. The base Impala/Taurus/Camry/Accord models don't offer it as far as I know.

Besides, the SXT, Touring, Limited, R/T, and C models offer it standard, so that's a major part of the model line up for those two cars.

And finally, the CTS w/the Luxury Sport Package is thousands more dollars than the top level LX, so that prices it out of the range of fair competition.

In a Road and Track article the CTS beat the 300 by a long shot and the CTS won the comparo. Maybe they were mad so they felt they needed to make it look bad.

Yeah, they really praised the CTS! Beat the E-class, S-Type, 5-series, A6, S60, and the 300 Touring model.

But to include the 300 Touring model (which is one step up from base and two steps from the C) among such expensive cars is saying something. The next cheapest car, the CTS, was $10,000 more.

I have to respect Chrysler though, for beating GM at it's own game here. The 300C offers a lot of capablility and style for cheaper than almost all of it's rivals, meanwhile, Caddies' MSRP's are going up up up.....
