2015 Silverado almost got me killed because I cannot accelerate past 98 MPH have called GM several times and have gotten runaround dealership says they cannot do anything I must call GM. Maybe time to get a lawyer involved clear case of being mislead almost causing major freeway accident had I not gone out through meridian. $ 50,000.00 and the truck wont pass 98 and GM wont solve issues and respond in a timely manner, have been calling for the last 2 weeks and only owned the truck for 3-weeks

Is it speed limited to 98? Why in the hell are you going 98 on a regular basis in the first place? Isn't the fastest road in the US limited at 85?
And 98 wasn't fast enough to pass a semi truck?

Something's fishy here. If the truck was wandering into your lane you would've had to go into the median no matter how fast the truck can go.

In any case, almost every non-performance car (and most performance cars) out there is speed limited. Maybe Silverado's is at 98.
Also you do realize the speedometers go to 140 because there's this thing called the metric system?
Then remove the speed limiter. A lot of people do it after taking delivery.

Good lord. Nobody's infringing on your rights. It's your car now, do whatever you want with it.
...Yeah we're done here. Go to a performance shop and tell them to remove your speed limiter. If your tires shred and you lose control at 110 MPH or whatever ludicrous speed you need to pass a semi, that's your problem, not GM's.
