Are we supposed to be excited about this:

Congrats Buick, you've designed the 8th best looking US mainstream sedan
Last 5 years sale deliveries are great evidence of "greatness" in every perspective about this dud. I was at the market for a new sedan and did not even bother to replace my 2011 Regal turbo with this Hyundai/Mazda diluted knock off. Honda Accord Sport and even Toyota Camry SE beat this model in every single category dollar per dollar for all trim configurations. Don't get me started on vehicle reliability and resale value considerations.

True. The Regal used to be sporty and dare I say somewhat beautiful as per when it first came around off of the Opel underpinnings.

Why would I do that when you could just answer....

I mean, it's ok if you love every GM car over the last decade.
Fineeeeeeeee, but I'll expect a thanks and a "I'm sorry".

I don't like the Bolt, the Trax, the City Express, the Express, the Savana, the current Encore(I like the upcoming one though), I don't like the Colorado headlights, not sure if that counts. That's just current stuff, there's been plenty more in the last decade.

Maybe it will...but that particular car in that particular pic ain't a sharp car....why lie about it?
If someone likes something and you don't, do you really think it makes them a liar?

Seriously, who gets excited about a car like this? It completely screams "Enterprise - we'll pick you up"

I had one of the last REAL Regals. My first car was a 1985 Limited coupe with the 305 and 4 speed automatic. Had an electroluminescent trim panel above the glove box that illuminated the Buick Real Limited logo in green with the headlights on.

I remember that lighted logo. I'm a geek for little things like that. Love ambient lighting stuff.

The Regal in the pic isn't exciting and the color does it no favors. But I think it's an attractively styled car and looks good in the right trim and colors.

Here are photos of the partially camouflaged 2020 Opel Insignia refresh:

I'll submit a picture of my car as substitute:

And itll probably look good in GS trim...problem is that itll only look good in GS trim and GSs account for .00001% of Regals sold. The rest will probably look like the brown car but with slightly larger wheels.

Almost all other automakers allow you to get the upmarket styling with the base powerplant, see 1.5 Accord Sport and 4cl Camry SE sedans....GM always forces you to the top trim to get the better styling.

NO ONE knows about the Regal. When is the last time you saw a stand alone commercial for it? Marketing has been nowhere to be found. Daughter in law has a Tour X and she absolutely loves it. Came out of a loaded 2017 Enclave and she much prefers the Regal.

Very true. They have a marketing budget of $0.00.

I realize it's not going to sell big numbers but I bet they could sell 2X what they do with an ad here or there.

This could also be a China only refresh - who knows.
I think the China domestic market Buick Regal refresh is aligned with the Opel/Vauxhuall Insignia refresh in Europe. We'll know for sure when non-camouflaged 2020 Insignias are released.
