2016 Chevrolet Camaro Spied On Video, Sounds Small-Blocky and Awesome

Just the other day, we showed you spy photos of the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro coupe, which was caught up close by our intrepid spy photogs while testing. Those photos gave us a detailed look at some of the Camaro’s styling changes that we hadn’t seen before, and they followed on the hells of aerial shots we used to determine the car’s basic size. But while pictures may be worth a thousand words, videos are worth many more. We now have footage of the car tearing up the Nürburgring in Germany in which we get our first listen of the new ‘Maro’s small-block V-8.
Sure, you may be struck by how, well, similar this V-8 Camaro sounds to today’s V-8 Camaro. Don’t be fooled, though, as what you’re hearing is the sweet music of General Motors’ fifth-generation small-block V-8. First introduced in the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Chevrolet Corvette in various forms of displacement and tune, the LT4 small-block will slide into the lineup for the current Camaro’s 6.2-liter LS3 motor.
