looking good so far. Judging by the background cut KGP did I have a feeling they might have trespassed to get these but despite all of the interior camo I like what I'm seeing i can't wait for better interior shots. and I will be be undertaking my first MPG trip of June on Monday (Friday is GM proving grounds) Last time I went I got shots of the new Milan and MKS (not what i quite had in mind but still good shots) so who knows what might show up this time

Mustang looks far better than that parts bin Challenger and certainly better than that goofy Camaro interior.

By the looks of this, Ford has done the best at covering up the 2010 Stangs dash. Its funnier because the Camaro will be all new and the '10 Mustnag will be refreshed inside, but not an all new design.
Im not a big fan of the Camaros "hump" denter stack, i like the gauges, and the steering wheel is retro cool (although the '10 Stangs looks really good). I really dont have much to say about the Challenger: the steering wheel, center stack... ugh no Magnum/ Charger please- those arent something you want to emulate!

Well, good grief. I hope they do a bang up job of a refresh.
I think the Mustang will just be a nice evolution of the current design, much like the 1966 mustang changed for a more muscular look in '67.
The real achievement will be the boss V8 and Ecoboost V6

Ford needs new interior designers. They suck at interiors.
I've always been a Chevy guy, but the current Mustang is pretty nice, and this seems like a good upgrade.

So what is so much better or different between your 2007 VW Rabbit and the 2010 Mustang interior? Looks like a lot of black plastic in this "superior" VW. I don't see any real aluminium on the dash or the steering wheel either. No chrome trim rings around the gauges. And this car costs $20,000 like a V6 Mustang? I don't get it. In fact, it looks as bad as the Challenger above.

I would think you'd love Ford's interiors, since their design chief Jay Maze came from VW. The current Mustang, Taurus, Fusion, all copies of Volkswagens or Audis. I think Ford beancounters are cheap and are making VW-styled interiors in cheaper plastics. ( My nephew is a designer, and I love cars, so we always talk about this stuff. ) Maybe you should too. Enjoy your "Rabbit.":lmao:

Will this moderately revised interior for the 2010 Ford Mustang people able to compete with the new Camaro's totally fresh interior?
The 2010 interior is not moderately revised. It is new. The 2010 is an evolution of the current design both inside and out. Better materials, better flowing design & lines, upgraded features...the 2010 Mustang will compete. Good luck finding alot of carryover bits. Similar perhaps...carry over not so much.

The Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang each have good interiors. I can't be totally sure about the Mustang, and the Dodge is not trendy but looks like solid quality, but the Camaro takes the cake: attractive dash and center stack, good instrument cluster, and an awesome steering wheel.

Not to mention we haven't even seen it finished yet!

NAIAS will be a fun show this January ;) - although Mustang will be probably in LA - because its assembly begins in February.

Igor
WOW
if LAIAS has the Mustang plus the new Milan & Fusion...

now if they'd just start bringing all the concepts the SW coast has never seen in person....
