Spied Again: 2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe with almost no camo
A new round of spy photos show Cadillac’s forthcoming CTS Coupe undergoing some final testing. Less than two weeks ago, photographers spotted a prototype with less disguise than ever before. These latest images show a car with slightly more black tape on its rear end, but with production taillights rather than the placeholders seen on the last tester.

Codenamed GMX226, the stylish couple will debut at the LA show, and will be built alongside the CTS sedan at the Lansing Grand River Plant. Production will start in May of 2009. The coupe will feature a backup camera which is not currently found on the sedan.

Thankfully, it appears that the majority of the concept’s lines have been faithfully duplicated on this production model. Some feared that the concept’s radical fastback design might be watered down, revealing the Coupe’s sedan roots, but our profile view proves these fears as unfounded. It appears that the production version may have a slightly more pronounced rear deck, but if that’s so, it’s not enough to significantly alter the concept’s silhouette.

Looking better and better all the time! I also like LLN's new format.

Re: 2010 CTS Coupe Production rear w/Taillights!

I like this car more and more every time I see it!! And while I hate stereotypes, a lot of you have mentioned this as being the next big "Realtor car" after the Eldorado......well I'm a Realtor, and if I sell one of these ocean front homes next summer, this will be my new "Realtor car" :D :drive: :D

Oh lord. What to do? The wagon, the coupe, the sedan? The Camaro? The LaCrosse? The SRX?

I'm going to have a big decision to make next year.

Wow! I'm impressed - this is really a good transition from concept to production and it makes a statement they haven't had in a while. In V form, it should give a few other cars a real run - as long as it doesn't take away from the sedan.

Wagon. There's something about the lines on it that are just plain sexy and hot. Plus you can haul all your ***** around in it too.

I love this design as well. I just hope this comes in at least 150 to 200 pounds lighter than the sedan. If it does it will be a winner, and I will purchase one in V form. Give us a mid model between base and V with a 3.6l Twin Turbo. I might consider that as well.

The more I see it the more I like it. They've done just enough modifying of the rear end to make it a little more palpable for us all. I wanted more of a deck and some bit of fender but this appears to have done the job. I'm excited about LA in November, I'm sure it will look great at that show but I'm hoping when I see it in person I'll fall in love with it. Does anyone know whether they've definitely decided on AWD and the 2+2 interior?

Love the Cadillac script on the chrome bar on the back. Much better pictures than last time too, the paint job really threw off the angles of the car, especially the back.

The economy. GM would be pulling away this year if oil didn't spike upwards.
