I respect that, but Leather is so much easier to maintain.
Buy a carpet cleaner :dro:. I prefer cloth over leather. The interior looks just like my dads 1995 blazer interior.

Trailblazer SS.. represents everyrthing wrong with GM
Who the **************** needs a fast SUV? I feel sorry for the tool that buys one of these things, especially when the $3.00+ a gallon days come back...

Destroy it it's the worst idea ever.
Now why would you say that not everyone likes what you like. The TB SS has appeals to lots of people. I'd love to have one, my dad would love to have one and several of my other friends would love to have one. Its a big SUV that goes fast whats not to love, I like trucks/SUVs and I like fast, its perfect. There was no reason to go and call people who go anf buy/would buy tools. As for $3.00 a gallon gas hey if you can afford it why not? My parents drove a sequia whihc got 13mpg constantly and it was $80 just to fill up. Go dirve one I have they are nice. But complaines on interior are accuarate, but I can live with any interior i could care less.

You all have to remember this is a Chevy, which is the value leader for GM. The interior looks as one in this category should. That's why they have GMC.

There is nothing wrong with the cloth seats it lowers the price and not all people want leather it's called options. Now I would get 2wd and leather in mine if I wasn't building my own fast truck.

I have a 06 TBSS, AWD, black on black with leather. The only options I do not have are nav system, xm, dvd and sun roof. I see nothing wrong with the interior. I paid 31,600. What a BARGAIN! This truck is fast, hauls five people and can tow 6800lbs. And if you want to compare this to a Land Rover don't forget the Land Rover is the number one vehicle on the list of most unreliable vehicles sold in the US. There simply is not another vehicle that you can buy for this price that offers what the TB SS does. Don't knock it until you try it!

Try sitting in leather seats after the car's been baking in the summer sun all day.

With shorts on.

Yeah, that's why I'd rather have cloth. Also, leather is too slippery. You slide around in the seat too much, especially considering most seats are made for the ever-widening American posterior.

Whether you like it or not, you have to at least agree that it is good to have this vehicle as a choice.

Some people want something like a Land Rover or Mercedes SUV. They see no reason to have an SUV that goes fast, but want luxury...top end materials..etc. They will not like the TB SS.

On the other hand..for those that don't care about fuel economy, interior quality..etc...it is for them.

Well, how about next time we have a way over the top interior featuring calfskin leather, and Porsche designed interior! Wow, what was Chevy thinking by having such killer harware available for low-mid 20's... man, no wonder Chevy lacks some excitement, it doesnt have feet massaging pedals.

Those TBSS's are pretty trick, I'm happy to see Chevy offer a redonkulously good starting platform for a sport ute. Get a 2wd, swap trans, twin turbo the thing, and put some recaro's in it, take that Turbo S... and gallardo while your at it too.

So what?

I for one am sick of the SS line as high end models. What ever happened to the stripped down performance models? Not everyone likes leather seats. I see nothing wrong with those seats.

SS is Super Sport, not SLS for Super Luxury Sport.
The last sentence pretty much sums it up:yup:

Also a great point! I was wondering when somebody was gonna mention the leather in the " heat"! Also, why would they only make " 1 " headlamp vent functional?!

[qoute] Only one of the headlamp vents is actually functional. [qoute]

Well looks to me like we got low quality cloth and worse quality leather.

Look at that shift know, thats the most horrid combination of angles and stiches and ****************ty plastic that I've seen in anything that wasn't made in China...

That vehicle may be damn fast, butthat doesn't hide the fact that it's a piece of poorly built crap.
..get your own opinion will ya and stop following the anti gm crowd with the interior bull****************

tool? well lets see who needs a fast SUV, I do, I am getting married soon and plan to have kids, my GTO wasnt ideal for hauling kids but i loved driving it. So for me the SS TB was a great compromise, room for kids and a whole lot of fun to drive at a very affordable price. As for MPG I bought it when gas was highest, it does pretty good on the HWY, I averaged 19 mpg on our recent trip to Virginia. Im very happy with my truck, you should drive one before you knock it. oh and calling people tools for what they like come on already. To each their own.

You are absolutely right. Tell Porsche that and look at their reaction. Their profits are up more now than ever. The "worst idea ever" as you put it, is obviously "the best idea ever!" Power, 4 doors, AWD, towing capability, what else could someone ask for?
Trailblazer SS: about $30,000 0-60 in 5.4 seconds
Cayenne Turbo: about $95,000 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.

And as for the price of gas...get over it! It is a cost of living. It still blows the price people pay for water out of the ball park. Suck it up and cry about something that matters.

I have to say there's something I like about this truck. It's really fast, and on the outside, it looks pretty sharp, although the inside does leave a bit to be desired.

I generally hate SUVs, but if I needed one, I'd consider the TB SS, even though I would never ever consider a regular TB.

I love the TB SS's I get to drive them a few times. LOL

But I bought an '06 TB with the 5.3L V8. I have the all Charcol interior and I love it. Yes it is cloth!!!
