I agree--- and the vans do fine for what they are. When comparing them to other popular minivans, they're really not that bad. They look pretty good, and have sufficient cool features. The seat doesn't need to fold into a well-- just fold flat. When the fold-flat into well seats came out, people weren't impressed with the well- they were impressed with the fact that they didn't have to remove the seats, yet they were out of the way. These seats serve the same purpose--- AND- they can be removed as well, right?

How so?-- they're trying to appeal to different tastes, keep all the dealers happy, and keep the plants working. I see little problem with it.
