My wife drive a 2004 Malibu with 83K miles. In the last month the steering has started to make a squeal noise at times. I do not know if this is a vacuum leak or some other problem. I am in hopes that someone will point me in a direction to repair this problem.

Hi Ken can you provide alittle more information on what malibu you have is it a epsilon malibu or is it a malibu classic?

Her cas is a 2004 LS V-6 the steering unit was replaced under warranty during the first six months. This car was purchased in Nov 2003 so this was a early buiild 04
