1st, gold bowtie. i remembered reading in that chevy would be going with gold bowties for all vehicles, previously it was only for trucks.

as for rest of car, i agree with you there, just crappy logos. few other things included though, logos on floor mats, and headrests. an indy paint scheme is what is called for, just as with the monte carlos. think they left it simple so a dealer can just slap on all the things to make it a "impala ss indy". this IRL "offical car" (not pace car), type of scheme could have looked good, there was also a matching trailblazer.
