Hey guys, new to this forum, and thought I would run this by you. Here's the deal...2001 Monte SS 3.8L V6, car is completely dead, battery is good, pulled one from my fathers truck in the driveway to make sure, hook up battery, get in car, turn key, check engine light comes on but that is it, won't turn over, no other lights, no horn , headlights, nothing, DEAD!! Getting frustrated, because I like the car, but it is just sitting in my fathers driveway, it's going to rot into the ground if I don't do something soon, any help would be appreciated. I suspect a bad BCM, but would like to hear all opinions.

Wisdom of my years speaking - you are letting a vehicle when in operating condition is probably worth $5000+. Would you leave $5,000 sitting in the driveway to rot? No.

Just have it towed to be serviced and fixed. Unless you have the proper diagnostic tools you could spend a fortune guessing and buying spare parts for nothing all the while your car loses value. Also other pieces of your car will deteriorate if unused and will cost you even more $$ to fix in the long run!

Is there ANY way to get DCT info from the vehicle? That might be a good place to start.

On another note, fuse boxes are located on the drivers side (L) and on the passenger side (R) of the dash panel (quite redundant). Further, there is a fuse box on the passenger side (R) under the hood.
