Well it's not as nice as DuSpnnst's Grand Cherokee but hey, it's transportation. This used to be my brother's college car but since he bought the Ranger it's pretty much my beachmobile/"when I don't want to drive the SS" car that I share with my dad when he needs to haul something (fertilizer, tow the boat, yard supplies, etc. etc.). Since my dad's job comes with a company car I'm the primary driver of it this summer though.

But it's got the I6, premium sound system with CD player, four wheel disc brakes, towing package, fog lights, fold down rear seats, an onboard computer, and cloth interior. 136K miles on the I6 with regular oil changes and still going strong! It's a great little motor and with 20MPG I can't complain.

Other than the rear filler pieces, the paint is in great condition with no knicks, scrapes (there's a mysterious scrape on the rear bumper cover though), or dents. I took the pictures after it rained (I randomly took it upon myself to clean the interior) and the car is a little bit dirty but here's some pictures anyway:

Re: My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Nice, your brother took good care of it. Car does not look like it is over 10 years old.
Haha, I don't know about that. He only drove it to school for two semesters and didn't wash it once during that period. When he came home for Christmas break I did an oil change for him and might've washed it but that's about it. It took a little bit of detail work (clay bar'd, polished the headlights that get dull extremely quickly, waxed) but it ended up turning out really good. It's going to need another coat of wax here in a little bit.

It's a lot easier to park than the SS, it's actually a little more than two feet shorter (SS is 202", GC is 177")!

Thanks!
