I want to say 1993? I love the C4 particularly in it's later years, what I call it's 'rounded' years (tail and front clip) compared to its first years. John Heinricy wow, back then too? cool.

Yep, 1993 is when they became 405hp. They were pricey though, I remember a road test in C&D on a 40th anniversary Ruby Red ZR-1, the sticker was around $70,000.

we have one come in every once in a while, its a ZR1 with the DOHC 5.7 in it. cant remember the year, but its a burgundy red color.

I think that video was part of the owner's video that came with the Vette. We (at work) used to order one every year to run test components but I'd always watch the video that came with the car. Those numbers were so amazing for 1992. Heck 0-60 in 4.75?! Still good today, but for half the price in a G8. Amazing how far technology comes along.
