Please be aware that the 2004MY 2500 Crew Cab Model **25743 & (C6P)-8600lb GVWR will become a 1500HD Crew Cab Model **15743 & (C6P) 8600lb GVWR for the 2005MY.

Are they doing away with the light-duty (non-lifted) 2500's then? Will they only have the 2500 HD? Otherwise, why would they do this? Originally it was to fool people into thinking they had a half-ton crew cab, but they have a real one now.

yes, they are once again re-badging the 2500LD to 1500HD. The reasoning behind this? Beats me.
