Let's say you want a V8 roadster and you're a fan of domestics, but you hate classics, and a Corvette shot your dad in Reno that one time and even though he recovered you're not quite ready to forgive America's sports car: Then we've got good news!

This Pontiac Solstice available on Bring a Trailer may be the perfect car for you. Instead of that weeny Ecotec four-cylinder making 260-really? 260 hp? That seems like plenty. Well, instead of that, you get a 6.0-liter LS2 mated to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission making an indeterminate amount of horsepower (we presume the words "too" and "much" could happily be applied in this scenario) which was installed by Performance Autowerks out of Oswego, Illinois.

Along with the 100% more cylinders, you also get 19" CCW wheels, coilovers, Wilwood front brakes, and more.

Inside you get new bucket seats and some new gauges to keep up with all that speed you'll have no doubt gained in the swap.

The odometer only shows 16,000 miles and only 600 of those miles were added in the seller's one year of ownership-which is an interesting figure. Whether that's a sign of the owner's deep devotion to keeping miles down, a reflection of the size of their collection, or a sign that the words "too" and "much" might not be so happily applied to this Solstice is something we're very interested in finding out about.

If you're interested, too, you can find the sale page on Bring a Trailer. The sale is set to end on the 23rd of December, so it could be the perfect Christmas present!
