also if you look very closely you can also see what possibly appears to be a mega cab version and two other models on the far right side of the R/T poster

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any, I haven't seen them yet (and I would we work on the entire DS program).

BTW, that Nitro with the SRT8 badge I saw a few days ago (doesn't sound like a V8). I also saw an Avenger over at FREC, so take that as you will.

Also, that special Challenger (well one of them) that I was alluding too in another thread may be road worthy soon. Look for "quad pipes" on the exhaust.

We'll see how well it sells with gas the wat it is. Dodge is going full throttle with hi-power gas guzzlers. Are they doing anything at all to "go green"? Seems to me they're gonna repeat whe 70's all over again. Nobody ever remembers the past!!

Thanks for the update Du. I'll keep my eyes peeled for those "quad pipes". However I have to disagree with you on the Nitro. When it drove right past me on the other side of Avon that day the exhaust note i heard coming out of that thing did not sound like any chrysler V6 I know. The exhaust note i heard sounded like that Nitro was packing a V8 under the hood. As for the avenger if they do plan on making an SRT version then go for it IMO the Avenger (in R/T trim) has plenty of potential and a SRT version would help it reach that in no time

It was in the parking lot so he wasn't going fast. If it is a V8 it has to be the 4.7L. The Avenger I think has the 2.0L Turbo from the SRT-4 but I didn't get to look under the hood.

Interesting any noticeably different exterior styling or was it like your typical every day avenger?

When I'm at the icehouse picking up ladies I always see the cowboy hat, denim vest-wearing guys walking back to their pickups holding hands and smooching. As you see on the news all the time, most Republicans, conservatives, and ministers are secretly like this. I'm guessing that tough-guy image turns them on.

You've got Dodge, with cool RWD vehicles, sport trucks, Hemi's...

And Bob Lutz blaming the world's problems on CAFE.

Take your pick (I'm not personally saying one is better than the other)

There is no way an innocent bystander could know all this.
