I've got it sitting right outside my door. A fully loaded XR with the 6 speed 4 banger combo. Its the new Gold Mist color and its' sharp. A little too old lady for my tatse, but it is sharp.

I've already paired my phone to the bluetooth and so far so good. It seems to work pretty well.

I'm anxious to get it on the road and see the difference compared to the 08 I own. I will have a full 50 mile review written by tomorrow. I'll only have it for the night.

Are there any new buttons or interface for the Bluetooth?
The current seek and mute button have been overhauled with a phone logo. The down seek button hangs up while holding the mute button accesses the phone system.

The way it works is:

Hold down mute button. System will respond with 'Ready'
State either 'Dial' for Onstar minutes or 'Bluetooth' to access your device

Once in 'Bluetooth' mode you can either access your phones voice commands by saying 'voice' or make a call by saying 'call' and reading off a number.

Its' pretty nice and it sounds great.

Another notable change is that when in tap shift mode in stead of just "M 'X'" appearing on the DIC, you now have trip A or B displayed. You still cannot access any other DIC features.

The Chrome strip is gone from the side of the car, it takes away some character from the car. But is not that noticeable.

Also, NO AUTO CLIMATE on the 4 banger, although this may be an option.

I'll have more later. I'm going to take it for another drive.

Does the '09 Aura with 17" wheels come with Firestone FR710 tires? Or does it continue using the Hankook H725's from previous model years?

I think all of the 17" wheels Malibu and Aura are now the Firestone's in the '09 narrower 215 width...but that's just based on the width change and my seeing those on the late '08 Malibu LTZ-4's AND these new '09 Malibu LT's:

The Aura likely follows suit, as always before.

I think the new tires are part of the 2009 models' fuel economy gains. I wonder how they will effect handling. I had a 2008 Aura XE rental with Hankooks and they were lousy (no grip) compared to my XR with the Goodyear Eagles.

No review yet. Anyways I'm glad they took the chrome strip off the door, it makes it look a million times better. Also the badging moved to over the rear chrome strip is nice. I'm not too happy you have to use speech commands for bluetooth, all I want is to dial or get the # from my contacts list on the phone and use the bluetooth speakerphone since it's much louder.

The review is up in the reader review section. The voice commands work through the car speaker system, simplay say 'voice' and the system will access your phones commands, through the audio system.

Ya thats the thing I dont want to use my voice, just want to press buttons. In the past my trucks voice recognition wasn't all that great.

Its pretty flawless. I have not had a single issue with it. Also, my 08 Aura seems to be a vast improvement with Onstar and its voice recognition over the 07 MY.

Rumor has it that the '09s don't have storage compartments under the passenger seats? Would you consider that a flaw?
I was speaking about the Bluetooth, not the Vue.
