exactly. Everyone wants thoes cars, and they dont even know that they are already here, well the Monaro for now. By the time we could get a full line up of RWD Holdens, Both GM and Holden will go to the Zeta chassis.

Thats why I don't like GM suits. h34r:

Blame the UAW as well - it was like pulling teeth to allow GM to import even the Monaro/GTO. Imagine if they said they were going to shut down FWD Impy production to allow these - or even displace the Mighty Supercharged Impy SS, which basically allows them to use the same stuff the UAW made for the supercharged Buick Regal for the last 4 years....

It would be the CAW then, Impala, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Buick Regal/Century all built by CAW union. If your going to blame anyone blame those drivers way back when who couldn't operate their RWD vehicles in the winter with their seasonal tires. . If there wasn't any problems with people operating those cars in the winter do you think FWD would have had a chance? Try replacing those all-season tires with a good set of winter tires on a RWD vehicle and see the difference. I did that for my truck and man it could grip through the snow no problem. Of course there was the ever-becoming-more-stringent emmisions/MPG which i'm sure these other continents didn't have to deal with. Well they do but my guess is that they wern't as strict. You see any MPG details on any of their sites? :mf_boff:

correct... but how does that help out a Chevy die-hard in search of a new 2+2, rwd, ls1 coupe?

Zeta chassis? I have heard of it, but need more info. Next gen holdens are going to use the VE chassis, built in house. Its the VE that most GM products will use. Maybe Zeta = VE? If it is then in my view it should still be called VE since its holdens design.

Everyone begs and begs for the foreign GM stuff....and then when they bring it....."wah...wah...wah....it looks like a Cavalier.......wah wah wah....how can it be a Caprice....it's made in Australia......wah....wah...wah.....look at the 2005 Mustang......."
