History
I bought it in 2012 and set about a on frame restoration. Remanufactured engine, Rebuilt Transmission 700/R4 and a Limited slip differential and a inexpensive paint work. It will need to have a good repaint in a few years.
The 1988 Chevrolet K5 came from West Texas and is totally rust-free. This vehicle has had a complete restoration. Nothing was over looked, everything from the frame down has been replaced with new or better. I went and installed a rear stabilizing kit which was an option, but not added when bought new. It is a one owner. The only thing not down was the interior as it was in perfect condition. I can not drive it without someone commenting on it. It did receive a 9 coat 2 step urethane paint .
