My 2000 Grand Am is an SE1. Here it is pictured with the car it replaced, a 1986 Grand Am that was in great condition when I got it in 1993. It was 7 years old and had 77,777 miles on it. I put quite a few more miles on before I had to retire it.
My 2000 has front and rear sway bars, and I recently installed a Stage-3 Cold Air Intake from Doctor Speed that really makes it growl. The shifting is a hell of a lot smoother too! My next addition will be a Borla cat-back exhaust. I also have someone interested in helping me make a body kit that will give my car a look similar to a Holden Clubsport.
