    GM would never build a car that would be just love by a few ! though it may be an halo car for the Malibu !

    When they first came out they were called "fastbacks"...and were basically 3/4-of a 2-door station wagon.

    Cool, its not a big market anymore, but still a few brands that play.

    How about a mid 80's Cavalier Hatchback? (that is what it reminds me of)

    Although, most cars nowadays the trunks have all gotten so small/short, its really just a bit more than what a 2-door configuration would be.
