I have no idea what this means, but I hope it will result in gas costing less then $3.25 a gallon in November!

It doesn't explain anything at all...
Anti-hydrogen people have long wailed about hydrogen generation/storage issues being insurmountable...but focused, positive-minded, creative thinking researchers are quickly discovering whole new paradigms and methodologies to solve those problems, and this announcement is clearly a breakthrough. These are exciting and interesting times to be passionate about cars, especially with GM's E-Flex and "Skateboard" technologies being close to market viable....this new approach to hydrogen storage on board could be of immense value to both programs.
