Unless I'm mistaken Hawaii is moving on local production of ethanol for E-85. They should have E-10 already.

And if you look up Alabama you will find 2! One at the Hoover Police Station to fuel the fleet of Tahoes thier force uses to patrol the Birmingham Galleria and one in Montogmery for the State Capital Motor Pool.

I wish I could get excited about E85 but it would be impossible for me to fill up at a public station!

That is correct. By law, we already have E-10, and next year our first ethonol plant comes on line in Kauai - which will use sugar cane, not corn. There are other plants scheduled to startup on Maui as well.

I assume it won't be too awful long before NJ gets one since they are planning on putting an Ethanol plant across the street from the prison I work in...

Wow, and I was bitching about there being only 7 E-85 stations within 100 miles of Austin...I'll shut up now.

What's the deal with New England? With the exception of Mass., none of the other New England states have E-85.

The only state in that list that seems off to me is Oklahoma. You would think that a state in the center of the United States would have at least a couple E85 stations. Or maybe it is just because no one likes on Okla...

The other states are either off shores or in New England, where E85 probably hasn't caught on.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

maybe the "density" of E85 stations is the same there, but since the states are smaller there isn't a station in every state. just a guess.
