CUV/SUV. Who buys wagons? The wagon era is over.

    Dodge Magnum:

    Cancellation

On November 1, 2007, Chrysler announced that, as part of its restructuring plans, the Dodge Magnum would be one of four models discontinued after the 2008 model year. In Chrysler's words: "The Magnum, along with the PT Cruiser convertible, the Crossfire, and the Pacifica were not earning their keep". Production ended on March 28, 2008. The Dodge Magnum, (along with the short-wheelbase Dodge Caravan), has been replaced by the Dodge Journey.[2]

About 170,000 over five years, or about 34,000/year. Good freakin luck getting close to those numbers.

Don't forget the Magnum was popular for a few years because at first it was the only way you could get the Hemi in something other than a truck - the Charger didn't start until '06.

The most frequent drivers seemed to be pimp types and middle aged women. Now they're owned by older women who never wash them. What a sad fate.

Station wagons are pink unicorns on the roads these days, according to C&D even regular sedans are selling less (drop to only 13% of all light vehicle sales). Models with manual transmission cut to 3-5% of that miser qty.

With low gas prices CUV/SUV are new/old sales fad.

Just make sure to call it a crossover suv, it will sell just fine

In all seriousness, kudos to Buick, I hope they sell it and it does well.

Well, the tall "Allroad" type wagon seems to be in vogue or will be soon enough. Mercedes is developing their E-Class All-Terrain, Audi has the AllRoad, Volvo has theirs.

My wife wants a utility vehicle. I'd rather not get an Outback. The Regal wagon would certainly fill the bill.

I think this will be a good alternative to the Audi Allroad or XC70.
