So, I guess BMW is afraid then Jake and Elwood will have too much fun with their car doing some stunts like a bridge jump.

No they just don't want stripped out BMW's hitting the market doing damage to their luxury image

Let the general public think cps are getting luxury when in fact they're just getting a ****box basically

I guess the Australian cops won't be allowed to eat donuts in their BMW police cars?

I guess it could work the other way too. The general public gets the sh*ts that the cops are spending $$$ on luxury cars instead of buying affordable family cars.

In a new development Vicpol are investigating using TeslaX as a Highway Patrol car.

They are expecting a lot of teething problems but that huge screen has to be useful in some way for them so at this stage they have one vehicle to test.

Did they say why and which BMW? I have seen X5s as well as the sedan. Is the BMW too stripped out for them?
