    Holden powered Bolwell Mark 7's

    Just thought I would post a few nice pics of my favourite Bolwell, the Mark 7. To my eyes the more classic headlights (especially when covered) and the oval grill give it a more sophisticated look. I'm torn on the rear as the Nagari rear is very nice, but then that Mark 7 racing car rear looks good too, just needs some chrome bumperettes...













    Got to love a triple carb Holden straight six engine....





    Sorry the pic quality isn't better, but below we can see that some owners went so far as to add reclaimed jag walnut and leather interiors...

    That very first blue one I have seen a couple of times on the road. I have an article in a magazine all about the restoration and conversion from hardtop to convertible. I believe at the time of the article the owner was a school teacher in the Adelaide Hills somewhere near Mt Barker.
    They are gorgeous little cars to look at.
