This episode was filmed down the road from me (well technically up the hill).

The Bowdens have some awesome cars. It's just a shame that most of them are Fords.
Here's Tru Blu when I caught it at a DJR members ride day at Lakeside:

Evil begets evil Mr. President. Shooting will only make it stronger.

Speaking of Fords, Glen Setons old car GSR3 (the EL - yes it did get uprated to EB but is being restored as an EL) will soon be back on the tracks. It is being rebuilt at the moment. I look forward to seeing another grand old car back on the circuit. It will live with the Plato/Brock Commodore and the Marcus Amrose championship car as garage mates.

Jim Richards was on the episode on 7Mate today. Some great footage - I'd be happy to just watch the races though.

I watched that - I had completely forgotten about the 3 series BMW being used. I still think the 635 is one of the nicest designs around. I am a non-smoker but I think the idea that cigarette advertising on historic films being blanked out if childish. I suppose you can still buy JPS cigarettes here but as their is no advertising I don't know for sure.

I agree on the *** ads. But then I never smoked so they didn't influence me when they were around. In most cases the logos they used then don't relate to today anyway.

The only thing I can think is that they would be in breach of the regulation if they showed it so they have no option.
