VXII is my favorite V car

My wife drives a Berlina its a very nice comfortable trip car

BTW last trip we did with a trailer full of camping gear up through the mountains average speed according to trip comp was 66KPH - total distance 411KM - average FE 9.1 litres per 100k

Not earth shattering but pretty damn good considering

Take your word for it. Yes, found an article says it was a VX. I was thinking taillight difference was later. Then, I wasn't paying much attention to VTs, except the GTS.

I had a friend with a VX Series II SS, dyno-tuned, exhausted up to 300Kw. Partly what convinced me the Monaro should be worth buying.

Gee safety has come a long way since the early shots - you could not have a press set up without guards and lock outs these days.
Also I couldn't get over how simple the early motors were without gizzmos hanging off them. It is just a a motor with carby and starter motor.
