Now or never, GM. Give Holden good RHD cars, or give Holden to someone who will.

Seems like the last Hurrah! Did Ford do something similar with their local manufacturing?

Without a doubt the best 'last hurrah' of them all. I'm confidently calling HSV's effort as 100x that of Holden even.

On top of the refreshed 30 range, the new GTSR range has new bumpers front and rear, wheels and what is genuinely remarkable, bespoke front guards. And to top it off the W1!

It's bad when the Aussies out-America the Americans. It may cost a ton of bucks, but I'm sure those are worth it. Also, El Camino, El Camino, El Camino. What an opportunity GM & Chevy passed on.

Don't leave Pontiac out of it although the decision was made for them.

I've got an OBM SS on order. It's apparently floating around the Pacific at the moment lol.

I personally think I liked the previous Gen F2 look, these look overdone to me on the bumper. But Holden ALWAYS has the best colors.

I'm also surprised that HSV didn't go with the multimatic DSSV shocks from the Z/28.

2 of those 3 are available on the Chevy SS.

It's a little depressing when Chevrolet doesn't even bother to give us any kind of special edition to send off the SS, let alone the El Camino we could have had, as @NoStopN mentioned. I'm glad I got mine, but it wasn't exactly what I would have chosen if I had more choices.

I still shake my head as to why GM spent the money to promote it, build the molds for the Pontiac nose & certify it for sale in the US if they wouldn't pass the model onto another division. No G8 ST? The same dealers also sell GMCs. Or, just let the Ute come back as the popular Chevy El Camino.
