NAIAS: Official Kia Stinger Concept Photos

    http://www.thetorquereport.com/2014/...pt_offici.html

The 2014 Detroit Auto Show has officially kicked off and while we wait for Kia to unveil its new GT4 Stinger concept, the first batch of photos have already leaked online. The rear-wheel-drive GT4 Stinger concept is a 2+2 coupe that is based on a new chassis and is powered by a turbocharged 315-hp 2.0L four-cylinder.

At first glance is reminded me of the Saturn Curve concept. I was off a bit. It reminds me of an American car, I just can't place my finger on it. It looks cool.

I like everything but the icky front end. Reminds me of some ugly old Chrysler concept.

This is what I expect from Kia...They had me worried for a second with the K9, Optima and so on. They need to get back to making cheap Ugly cars as opposed to the halfway decent stuff they were putting out. It kinda throwed the whole Automotive universe out of whack. People were actually paying $50K-$60K for a Hyundai at one point, it was ridiculous. But hopefully this design theme carries on so that everthing can go back to normal.

It's kind of interesting and "amazing?" for a Kia. The only thing I really don't like is the front bumper facia, the grille itself is alright though.

Good for them. I really like the 'two tone' effect in the rear and the side exhaust thing. I really like the blunt front end - reminds me of the hidden headlight days a little.

That wheel bulges seem derivative of Acura, but overall, I'm fer it and not agin' it.

It has stacked headlamps. Nobody really makes anything with that styling feature anymore. I love cars with stacked headlamps. So therefore I actually like this concept.

I really like it, but the lack of rear bumper seams makes me think this is a true "concept" that will be toned down for production.

Yeah, I see the headlights mounted low. I just meant that it was evocative of hidden headlamp 60's cars.
