Maserati Alfieri Concept Previews Brand’s Beautiful Future
With an abundance of exotics and luxury cars making their debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Maserati is holding its own against the competition with its stunning Alfieri concept.
A 2+2 concept car, the Alfieri was built to celebrate the brand’s centenary according to the Italian automaker, but it’s likely also acting as a preview to the next-generation GranTurismo. Of course Maserati won’t say it outright, but it did hint at the idea by stating that the Alfieri concept is a 100-percent functional prototype that “could well be a door to the future of the Trident Marque.” Created at the Maserati Centro Stile in Turin, the Alfieri concept is highlighted by its long, low nose and front grille that is divided vertically into two concave sections. The LED DRLs complement the aggressive headlights that incorporate bi-xenon-LED bulbs.
