Seat Altea FR released in Essen

Nice little car from seat just released the Altea FR a 2.0 TDI with 170hp and 6 speed manual. What a small car should be in my opinion sporty with good mpg and style **at least to me**

The bad thing: you might not differenciate it between a Leon and Toledo.
Sorry China, we'll buy your disposable electronics and lead coated toys, but when we Americans want a cheap car with horrible quality, we get a Chrysler.

Why can't the US get a small car like this instead of the bland and slow Aveo (for example). Economy minded people like good style too. Good power and good style in such a compact package would sell quite well here.

ive driven both it and the Golf Plus (they are reskinned / re-interiored twins) and its not as good as the VW. The interior doesnt have any of the well-thought-out storage as the Dub, and the handling feels as if it was forced to be "sporty" when it really didnt want to.

But if you're driving a Golf you're driving a Golf, a relatively boring looking car. This looks, well, that much cooler. And I think the sheer style is worth it.

I wish SEAT came to this country.
