Maybe if they were cheaper, more people could afford them.

A clear case of making appealing, charismatic automobiles that sell. That's right, Mr. Maybach.

And that strategy will forever be known as "The Cadillac Strategy."
The irony of it is, Rolls did in fact make a "cheaper" version so more people could afford a Rolls-Royce... starting price a mere $245,000 -- almost 1.5x the starting price of Flying Spur.

This has been repeated across the board, luxury items are doing very well right now and setting records.

LOL. I mentioned that in the FWD BMW thread.
If BMW's gonna go forward with their FWD cars, and there's actually recognition in the Cygnet, I wouldn't put it past them to build something for Rolls.

I don't think they should do it, but if there's an apparent market for it, especially in London, with congestion prices and taxes, and it's only offered to Rolls owners, then maybe it's worth looking into. Though I don't like the idea at all.

Can you even imagine a Rolls-Royce Mini with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy??
