    Review: 2015 Volkswagen GTI SE

Had the chance to spend time with a 2015 Volkswagen GTI recently

    My thoughts below

    Great review.

I noticed you said the GTI was "slightly cheaper" than the WRX. But for the extra money, you get AWD with the Subaru.

How would the resale compare on the two say, after 5 years and 60k miles?

I know, it probably is nitpicking for the driving enthusiast.

Except, if its good, who cares?

Good write up. The GTI is the most mature of the hot hatches and continues to fulfill its purpose.

It's the ultimate hot hatch and the Mexico plant is a brand new state of the art facility so time will tell if all the worries are just bias coming to the surface or not.

The MK7 GTI has been getting rave reviews and rightly so. You can get it configured just about any way you can imagine or want.

For those who like to mod their cars VW has finally made the ECU flash-able from the diagnostic port. APR who is really the leader in VW tunes will be announcing their stage 1 tune which will be over 270hp WHP which is just awesome. It will be interesting to see what the stage 2 will produce and then what they will do with the R which has a bigger turbo to begin with.
