Porsche Mission E concept electrifies IAA

Radically styled Porsche Mission E concept electrifies IAA with more than 600 PS and 500 km range

Porsche is taking the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show by storm with its very intriguing Mission E concept.

    Update

It looks like a Panamera from 2025 and adopts an all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering system, with power coming from two electric motors providing a combined output in excess of 600 PS (440 kW) which is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.5 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in less than 12 seconds and a 'Ring time of less than 8 minutes.
Porsche doesn't say anything about the possibility of a production model, but it's highly unlikely the concept's "entirely new" powertrain won't find its way into a production car in the years to come, with the Panamera or possibly the smaller Pajun (Panamera Junior) being the most obvious candidates given the concept's shape.

Might this be intended for a sedan to slot below the Panamera and compete with the A6/5/E? And if they go EV, the Model S as well. At least lower powered versions might be a bit cheaper.

    Either way, looks good.

You mean rumored Panjun. I think it was delayed until 2019 or 2020...

Maybe they could offer both? Or this first with convention ICEs offered later and make it one model (or make them the same basic car but call the EV something else? There's a million possibilities).

I like it. But the vertical styling element has to go.

The last picture makes me think it came straight out of Tron 2.0. I like it.

I thought the smallerp psedan was supposed to smaller yet
    so
maybe this IS in between AND the reason the littlest got delayed??

also thinking if the littlest and Panamera stay conventionally powered, the size differences wouldn't have to be that much
