    Ordered: 2007 BMW 335xi

Well, my dad and I went to our local BMW dealer and test drove the 335xi. I still can't believe how the thing accelerates under normal load. Got to love the 300 lb of torque being available at 1400 RPM. My dad ordered it with the Sparkling Graphite exterior with black leather interior. We got iDrive which isn't as bad as the reviewers made it out to be. I was used to it almost immediately and knew how to operate it. We got the Cold and Premium package, HD Radio, Sirius radio, the iPod adapter, comfort access, and I believe a few more things. Can't wait until July. Going to be a good month from our cruise in Europe and the new 335xi coming in.

You're going to Europe and not doing BMW European Delivery??? tsk tsk

    Good choice!!!
My buddy traded in his Pathfinder for a 335xi. He LOVES it. I tried to get him to get an LR3, but the LR3 was too tall for his garage. (He removed the roof rails on the Pathfinder to get it to fit.

But he fell in love the the 335xi. He needed AWD.
Apparently, it's a pretty roomy car too. He used to be a defensive tackle for Stanford. So, I'm assuming if he fits (we're the same height)... I won't have a problem.

Can't wait to convince him to let me drive it. haha

Idrive isnt BAD, but its annoying as heck.....

Of course once you get used to it its not as bad.

But still, having to go thru like 10 options to be able to change the radio from AM to FM as opposed to pressing a button would take its toll on your patience

Congrats! The 3-series is the only BMW that I really like, mainly because it has the nicest looking interior. If I had a bit more money I could lease a 323i. I'd like to sit in one because they seem a little small according to specs.

congrats, too bad you didn't wait for a CTS DI w/ a 6 speed to at least try it out and compare, but I'm happy for you. My aunt loves her 5 series and they drive great so enjoy it! You're fortunate to be able to own one in your family

I'm getting a new GM vehicle but that doesn't mean I can't dream about a BMW

Is it for you or your dad? Either way, congrats!

BMW never seems to dissapoint with their 3-series. I just wish BMW didn't have such expensive options.

It better be good. I hope it is. I remeber Edmunds testing the Commadore SS and remarked that it reminded them of the E39 M5...lets hope the G8 does the same. If it does, I would def. consider it in the future.
