Two things are possible:
1. This is a near production version and we will see it at Geneva Motor show, or
2. This is a test car for the suspension.
Personaly I think this is the new version of the old Golf Country and will be shown on March at Geneva.
Looks like a new crossover...I don't like it.
Yup, seems this is it. It looks exactly as bad as the other spy and concept shots we've seen lately. It does not look too cross-overish - it DOES have ground clearance But the overhanging nose is killing this thing... The original Country, with all it's DIY apperance, looked better.
Baby Toureg. I like it.
The tires look way too small for it, it literally looks like a golf with a lift kit.
Wow, a Golf with a lift kit. Really, it does look odd.
I'm lovin' it.
This has been on the books for a couple years. I don't remember what it's called, but it's essentially a production Golf with a crossover treatment, and I understand it's coming to the US. It's not a custom thing, it's production. It's been featured in Euro magazines already.
You guys crack me up! That's clearly a test mule...
Here's a more finished pic to wet your appetite. It's called a Bedouin or Marrakesh depending on which market. The Jetta Wagon is not coming to North America due to this Crossover. Hope you like it!
Just got back from driving a new GTI.
I can't get the smile off my face.
The six speed manual is like melted butter.
What a fantastic car!!
So now we know why the Golf Plus is selling in the first place, for yet another fugly VW 4x4. I heard that the Golf Country failed in the marketplace. I guess this one will too, especially with VW having a bad rap over quality and dealers.
