Mercedes CLA Forum
No fancy press release, just a great Super bowl commercial.
This thing will eat the Verano alive in sales. Especially with that price .
Nice little car but I don't think is going to eat the verano. First of all I wouldn't put it in the same class but that is just my honest opinion.
This will not eat the Verano starting at 30K that because nicely equipped it will run into the mid-30's. The Verano is about loaded about the starting price of this car....that mind you is price at a year old C-Class or and entry C Class what is the point?
It is in the same class but it is way to expensive!
2012 Hyundai Veloster
2008 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Future car: Cadillac ELR or Tesla Model S
Strong styling, attractive price, desirable brand.
MB will do very well, even if the car turned out to be inferior in terms of quality and driving dynamics.
I'm not a huge Mercedes fan but I do love this car and the price.. very nice.
A part of me loves watching such a vernerable brand making the same mistakes others have.
How long will the CEO want to spend $100K on his S when his secretary is leasing one of these for $350 a month? Jaguar learned this with the X-Type.

If Mercedes is smart enough to not let the loaded trims get too high it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
Don't know about the car, but the ad is certainly alluring.

Heck, Warren Buffett drives a Cadillac DTS.
Buick should have had a better competetor with a better name then Vareno.......
The CLA is smaller than the Regal, but if it is close in size to it, the Regal is going to get eaten. Verano is the value leader, and it has nothing to worry about.
