    Let me get this straight...

    http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/mercede...0d-2016-review

A mid-sized Mercedes SUV is a rather unfamiliar sight on UK roads. The old GLK never made it to Britain due to difficulties converting it to right-hand drive, but its sharper, sleeker and more practical successor hasn't suffered the same issue - and we've been behind the wheel on British roads for the first time.

Re: Let me get this straight...

It's an old car that isn't even in production anymore. It wasn't RHD capable because it wasn't engineered to accept RHD, which was a very short sighted decision, costing Mercedes-Benz sales in RHD markets like the UK.

Its replacement, GLC, was engineered to be RHD capable and is already on sale in the UK in RHD form, and has been on sale since December of last year:

Oddly, the Renault Twingo was never made in RHD form. So there. We have the TWO non-American, first-world-country cars to made without RHD...

How GM kills Cadillac's global image, read here:Hidden Content
I wasn't around during Cadillac's last heyday, so this is the first time I've ever written the following words: The car to beat, the best car in its class, is a Cadillac. You're done playing offense, Cadillac. I hope you can learn how to play defense.
